Shivpreet Singh and Jeremy Marais Kirtan in New York and New Jersey

Bring a Unique Blend of Kirtan to Gurpurab Celebrations Organized by Oneness USA

New York/New Jersey — In November 2024, the DhunAnand Foundation’s Shivpreet Singh (California, USA) and Jeremy Marais (Israel) joined together for a series of inspiring Kirtan performances across New York and New Jersey. Their performances, culminating at the prestigious NJPAC on November 9, were part of the Oneness USA event, celebrating Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 555th birthday.

The theme for this year’s Gurpurab celebrations was “How to Invite the Guru into Your Home,” emphasizing Guru Nanak’s teachings of love, unity, and spiritual wisdom.

“I’m excited to be with Jeremy Marais, the master saxophone player, in New York and New Jersey for the @onenessusa event,” said Shivpreet Singh. “If you want us to do Kirtan at your home or local gurdwara, please reach out to fontain@dhunanand.org. Because Jeremy is living in Brazil, I haven’t done many recordings with him for a while, so I’m looking forward to spending time with him and meeting the sadh sangat on the East Coast.”
